Service Level Agreement

Last updated: March 13, 2026

This Service Level Agreement ("SLA") describes the uptime commitment and compensation policy for ScreenshotDEV ("Service"). This SLA applies to all paid plans. Free tier accounts are not covered by this SLA.

1. Uptime Commitment

We commit to maintaining 99.9% monthly uptime for the ScreenshotDEV API. Uptime is measured by our third-party monitoring provider, and real-time status is available on our status page.

2. Definitions

  • Downtime — any period where the API endpoint returns server errors (HTTP 5xx) or is unreachable for more than 3 consecutive minutes, as measured by our monitoring provider.
  • Monthly Uptime Percentage (MUP) — calculated as: (total minutes in the calendar month minus downtime minutes) divided by total minutes in the calendar month, multiplied by 100.
  • Service Credit — additional API credits added to your account as compensation for downtime below our committed threshold.

3. Compensation

If the Monthly Uptime Percentage falls below 99.9%, you are eligible for service credits as follows:

Monthly UptimeService Credit
99.0% – 99.9%10% of screenshots used that month
95.0% – 99.0%25% of screenshots used that month
Below 95.0%50% of screenshots used that month

Service credits are applied as additional API credits to your account. Credits are non-transferable and cannot be converted to cash or refunds.

4. How to Request Credits

To request service credits, email [email protected] within 30 days of the affected month. Include your account email and the dates/times of the downtime you experienced. We will verify the claim against our monitoring data and apply credits within 7 business days of approval.

5. Exclusions

This SLA does not apply to downtime caused by:

  • Scheduled maintenance — we will notify you at least 24 hours in advance via email or our status page.
  • Force majeure — events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, wars, government actions, pandemics, or widespread internet outages.
  • Your infrastructure — issues with your network, DNS, or systems that prevent you from reaching our API.
  • Abuse or violations — service disruption resulting from your violation of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Third-party dependencies — failures of the target websites you are capturing, or failures of third-party services beyond our control.

6. Sole Remedy

Service credits described in this SLA are your sole and exclusive remedy for any downtime or performance issues. This SLA does not entitle you to any additional compensation, damages, or refunds beyond the credits specified above.

7. Changes to This SLA

We may update this SLA from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. The most current version will always be available at this page.
